Life Church Matlock, as a Christian church and organisation, is committed to providing a safe environment in which everyone can develop socially and emotionally, forming positive, healthy and supportive relationships.

All church employees, leaders and volunteers (church members) follow our Safeguarding Policy guidance to ensure the safety of children and young people who take part in activities organised by LCM.

In the event that church members become aware of any form of harm in the lives of children, they will know how to respond to protect children from further harm, notifying the Safeguarding officer (Aaron Himsworth) and passing on key information where necessary.

Training is carried out regularly and policies are updated to ensure best practice and care for young people.
